James No is Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, Greater China. Jim is responsible for leading the strategy, planning and business development teams across the Disney Greater China business. As Disney positions the Greater China business for further growth, maintain the focus on creating high-quality entertainment experiences, and effectively build local and Disney franchises in China, the Corporate Strategy and Business Development team is charged with finding profitable growth by targeting emerging businesses new to Disney's existing portfolio, managing cross-divisional issues and opportunities, and evaluating new technology and business models

Jim has worked at Disney for a decade, joining in 2003 where he first held several key roles including heading Global Business Development for Disney Consumer Products Global Toys based in Glendale, California. Jim joined Disney English in 2007 and was instrumental in the development of the initial launch strategy of this venture in China.

Jim moved to the role of General Manager, North and West Region, Disney English in 2010. Under Jim’s leadership, Disney English successfully opened 19 centers in the North and West Regions of China, successfully enrolling over 11,000 learners and growing the number of cast members from 2 to over 500.

Prior to joining Disney, Jim was a management consultant for Bain & Company where he developed market entry, growth, sales and marketing, and acquisition strategies for clients in diverse industries in the United States, Australia, China, Japan and Korea.

Jim holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Basis of Behavior with a Concentration in Neural Systems from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jim currently resides in Shanghai, with his wife, Dr. Haegeun Song.
