Robin Joffe is presently Managing Director of Frost & Sullivan, a global growth consulting and research company and responsible for its expansion into the Japanese market. Prior to this Robin was President of ATrend Ltd. a sales, marketing and market entry company focused on the research and consulting market for the IT and Internet Market. Prior to this Robin was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Gartner Japan Ltd. Based in Tokyo, Robin had been responsible for restructuring of the Japanese Sales force and at the same time growing the business in Japan. In addition to launching several very strategic services in Japan for Gartner, he was also part of the Senior Management Team.

Prior to Japan, Robin was Director of Distribution Channels for Gartner in Asia Pacific and was responsible for expanding and supporting the company's network of partners that delivered Gartner’s services to local customers across the region.

Robin joined Gartner in 1993 and helped establish the company's operations in Japan and China as managing director of Gartner Japan and then moved to Hong Kong as Director of Sales and District Manager for Hong Kong and Southern China where he was instrumental in doubling sales growth in this region.

Before joining Gartner, Robin was one of the founders and directors at JSI International in Tokyo, which advised foreign companies on their market entry into Japan and China.

Fluent in English, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish and Swedish, Robin has extensive international experience and has assisted numerous organizations turn around their overseas operations. Robin holds a degree in international business from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York and an M.B.A. degree from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University/Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
