Heewon Kim IIR (Influencer in Residence) is an active influencer at the forefront of the global fashion industry. She offers a wide range of business consulting and partnership development support to SparkLabs portfolio companies in the fashion and beauty industries.
Heewon served as the Creative Director of HanStyle, a luxury fashion retailer in Seoul, Korea. Currently, she is working as the Creative Director of Closet Share and Consultant for Lablaco and Balaan, all SparkLabs portfolio companies. In addition, she serves as a judge for K-Fashion Audition, a national support program for fashion designers hosted by Korea Fashion Industry Association, and she was a contributing editor for WWD Korea.
Heewon lived in New York City for over 7 years between 2008 and 2015, leading brand licensing agreements with large Korean corporations, including CJ, GS, Hyundai, and Lotte Home Shopping, operating a production business for editorials and advertisements with Hollywood celebrities and supermodels, and appearing in Korean fashion TV channels like Donga TV to share global fashion trends with the Korean market.
Heewon graduated from Sungshin Women’s University with a bachelor’s degree in Textile Crafts. She started her career as the first-generation editor for well-known fashion magazines, such as Madame Figaro, Vogue, and Marie Claire. She worked in PR at Gucci Korea and as a stylist for top Korean celebrities.
Aside from her role as SparkLabs IIR, Heewon is also working as a brand ambassador and fashion consultant for a number of global luxury fashion brands, such as ICEBERG, Valextra, and Faithconnexion.
